The resource will work with upper management to define software requirements and will ensure the delivery in agreement with overall planning defined.br/br/In this role, the resource should be able to work independently with little supervision, but he will also be required to work in collaboration with external resources (contractors or software consultancy agencies).br/br/strongMain goals are: /strongbr/br/ /pulliDevelop high-quality software aligned with user needs and business objectives. /liliSupport the delivery of the products developed within projects achieving the project and customer requirements. /li /ulstrongResponsibilities /strongulliOrganize and deliver software development activities ensuring QCD commitment, till the end of software development. /liliDefine the software functional requirements specifications and ensure that all the requirements can be verified. /liliKeep the link between projects and internal support team to ensure the projects are delivered in line with their requirements. /liliEnsure the traceability of the software requirements through the development cycle. /liliDefine the software architecture and define the software development concept (development tools, methodology, coding strategy, …). /liliContribute to software integration, together with the software designers. /liliContribute to specify, design, prepare and perform tests and verifications of the software. /liliContribute to standardization by reusing existing solutions or by defining reusable solutions, including COTS. /liliApply and ensure application of processes and standards. /liliContribute to continuous improvement (RoE: Return of Experience, process…). /liliContribute to the definition of the software configuration management plan together with the configuration manager. /liliContribute to the definition of the software quality plan together with the quality manager. /liliMaintain and control KPIs for the project and report to S/W Domain Leader. /li /ulstrongEducational Requirements /strongulliMaster's degree or bachelor degree in the field of software engineering required. /li /ulstrongExperience /strongulliHands-on development experience of software phases like requirement gathering, software development, hardware-software integration, etc. (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Automotive domain). /liliHigh experience in software design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems. /liliManaging work packages for sub-contractors. /liliEnglish: highly proficient in both spoken and written English. /li /ulstrongCompetencies Skills /strongulliAbility to work efficiently in a team. /liliGood communications and reporting capabilities. /liliOpen to change and to carry out new tasks. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /liliResult-oriented. /li /ulpYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
