The Avio Group is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Officer to ensure full adherence to national and international regulations governing the import and export of controlled goods, technologies, and data.\nIn this role, you will manage all compliance activities related to military and dual‑use items, support corporate functions during Government authorization processes, and provide strategic guidance in commercial negotiations involving regulated products. You will also work closely with Legal, Sales, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders to safeguard Avio’s global operations.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\n\nLeading the classification of products and technologies, including Country of Origin and export jurisdiction determinations\nManaging import/export authorizations under L.185/90, ITAR, EAR, BAFA, and applicable customs regulations\nSupporting internal teams in preparing and submitting Government authorization requests\nDeveloping, updating, and implementing corporate Trade Compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls\nEnsuring consistent application of regulatory requirements across the organization\nConducting audits, risk assessments, and investigations related to potential compliance breaches\nProposing remediation plans and driving continuous improvement initiatives\nOverseeing and mentoring staff involved in export control and customs processes\nActing as the company’s Authorized/Legal Representative for export authorization purposes, ensuring accuracy and accountability in all declarations\n
