Job Description
General legal support with a focus on commercial contracts, corporate law, M&A, and compliance.
Provide legal support globally to Ammega. Act as a trusted advisor to the business and helping build a robust legal function.
Responsibilities
Individual accountabilities
* Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of domestic and international commercial agreements.
* Advise on corporate law matters, including M&A transactions and post-deal integration.
* Manage external legal counsel and litigation matters.
* Provide legal guidance on regulatory matters and liaise with public authorities.
* Analyse legislation and regulations, provide legal opinions - including implementation and/or impact on the business.
Shared Accountabilities
* Contribute to legal entity management and rationalization.
* Develop, implement and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
* Ensure harmonized legal practices across the Group.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, operations) to support business goals.
Key linkages & interfaces / most important stakeholders
* General Counsel, Legal Counsel and Paralegal
* Management and Board of Directors of Group entities
* Purchasing, sales and business operations teams
Qualifications
* 7-10 years post qualification experience, in an international law firm and/or in-house legal department.
* Fluent in written and spoken English (min CEFR C2)
* Strong generalist legal skills in commercial contracts, corporate law, and M&A.
* Experience or interest in compliance.
* Excellent communication skills and a constructive, collaborative mindset.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
* Willingness to help build and shape legal processes and tools.
