Description of the Role The Global Visual Merchandising Graphic Designer Specialist reports to the Global Visual Merchandising Director and supports the Global Visual Merchandising team in the creation and execution of visual merchandising materials for Bata stores worldwide. The role combines daily graphic work on VM guidelines and presentations with the development of visual proposals for window displays and product presentation layouts, supporting store implementation across international markets. The position operates within a global and multicultural environment, collaborating with regional and local teams. Responsibilities
Support the Global Marketing Manager in developing and planning global brand communication campaigns. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform brand strategies and refine consumer understanding. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand positioning, storytelling, and retail activation. Support go-to-market (GTM) plans and marketing playbooks for regional teams. Collaborate with regions to adapt brand initiatives to local needs while ensuring global consistency. Work with Visual Merchandising teams and retail partners to increase brand visibility, elevate in-store experience, and drive footfall. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, supply chain, product and merchandising) to execute marketing campaigns. Build strong relationships with retail activation, advertising, and production agencies to ensure excellence in execution. Support the rollout of global marketing projects across priority markets.
Requirements
Degree / diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or similar. 2–3 years’ experience in graphic design (experience in retail or visual merchandising is a plus). Good layout and composition skills. Experience in window display design, product presentation layouts, and basic 2D / 3D visualization is a plus. Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop). Basic knowledge of SketchUp or similar visualization tools is a plus. Knowledge using AI tools to support graphic development and visual content creation is highly appreciated. Comfortable working in an international environment.
