You will ensure that “lessons learned” and best practices are applied on projects and transferred to new projects. You will be the main Engineering Interface with the customer. /ppA big part of your role is to define the implementation of the project jointly with the PM and the Site Manager. You will manage all engineering activities for designated projects (Signalling and/or Wayside) and the engineering labour budgets; define and tracks engineering deliverables; Identify and captures input requirements from technical meetings with customer and internal stakeholders and distribute to system engineering; Technically support ITC activities. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliTo lead all aspects of design, implementation, testing and commissioning required to deliver the scope of the engineering project to satisfy customer requirements while adhering to project budgets and schedules. /liliEstablish and maintain interfaces with other Engineering departments with relevant functions (Project Management, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Bids). /liliMonitor, control and report monthly all product related financial aspects of the project consistent with the contract requirements and established project management procedures to attain established goals. /liliContinuous optimization of Project Engineering processes/tools/behaviors by considering business requirements, customer needs, technical innovations, and new market conditions. /liliEnsuring that relevant skills are made available by the Engineering Function in order to fulfill project requirements /li /ulh3Qualifications Functional Knowledge /h3ulliEngineering graduate /liliMinimum 2/3 years of experience postgraduate /liliMinimum 2 years of leadership experience /liliInterdisciplinary technical background (traditional railway signalling, ERTMS, SCADA, power supply, data networks, civil works, etc.). /liliProject Management experience and/or skills /liliInterest to extend technical skills. /liliSignalling background and knowledge on signalling systems preferred /liliGood knowledge of Italian and English /li /ulpYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
