As a Sr. Consultant in Analytics Engineering, you translate raw data into trusted, well-modeled analytics assets powering decision-making and BI. You design dimensional models, semantic layers, and robust testing/observability, delivering analytics workflows with CI/CD. You collaborate closely with data engineers, BI developers, analysts, and clients to create durable data products and mentor others on best practices. This role combines software engineering rigor with analytics, shaping scalable data foundations for AI/ML use cases. Responsibilities Design and deliver dimensional and analytical data models, semantic layers, testing frameworks, and CI/CD for analytics workflows Partner with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Analysts, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into reusable data products Lead modeling decisions on client engagements and mentor junior analytics engineers and analysts on dbt and analytics best practices Maintain data models as products with clear ownership, naming conventions, documentation, and SLAs Prepare technical and business-facing artifacts (design docs, lineage maps, metric catalogs, runbooks) for internal and client stakeholders 5+ years in analytics engineering, data modeling, BI engineering, or related roles Expert-level SQL with warehouse tuning (Snowflake preferred) Production experience with dbt projects (dbt Core/Cloud) Strong dimensional modeling knowledge (Kimball, SCD, conformed dimensions) Experience defining and governing metrics in a semantic layer and partnering with BI tools Data quality/testing experience (dbt tests, data contracts, freshness checks) Git-based workflows and CI/CD for analytics (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) Experience with orchestration tools (dbt Cloud, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect) Python scripting for analytics xrdztoy tooling Cloud experience on AWS (Azure, GCP nice to have) Experience integrating modeled data with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Sigma, Hex, Mode) Leadership in client engagements and mentoring juniors Ability to present artifacts to stakeholders and work in Agile teams Experience hiring, developing, and managing a technical team Benefits Healthcare benefits package 401(k) and stock purchase plan Generous paid time off and parental leave Training and certifications via AI-driven platform Diversity and inclusion programs Career development opportunities #J-*****-Ljbffr
