Location Northern Italy (onsite) Role The Director of Sales & Marketing develops and directs all sales, marketing and business development activities in Europe. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Developing a sales and marketing plan to achieve set growth targets. Developing and managing an effective sales and distributor team. Building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business (e.G. Flavours, Colours, Extracts, Powders). Closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors, VPs and owners / executives. Operating autonomously in a dynamic environment; highly self‑motivated. Strong fit with the company’s culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor or Master’s degree with preference for sciences or food technology / ingredients and / or MBA. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment within the food industry. Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages are an asset. Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business. Experience closing sales to senior decision‑makers.
