We are looking for a Buyer Specialist on a fixed contract, responsible for respecting project schedules, managing procurement, and all activities related to supply chain management.
Responsibilities include:
* Implementing the QMS in your area of responsibility
* Shared responsibility for respecting project budgets, product costs, and tooling costs
* Defining the supply chain for new components, sub-assemblies, or complete products
* Managing costs of new components, sub-assemblies, or products, including tooling
* Ensuring project schedule adherence during various phases
* Preparing project purchasing documentation
* Selecting suppliers in a global, multi-functional environment in line with global strategy
* Qualifying new suppliers via Hill-Rom certification process
* Engaging early in supplier projects to bring technical expertise during product development
* Establishing energy performance criteria in contract negotiations for energy-using products and services
Qualifications and Skills:
* Strong team player, committed to quality improvement
* Highly organized with the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to find alternative solutions
* Effective communication in multicultural, technical environments
