The role provides comprehensive data management expertise to the Clinical Data Management (CDM) team to deliver high quality data management products that meet customer needs. The lead directs the team in project planning, execution and close‑out, financial management, communication, and milestone deliverables, while complying with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulatory guidelines, SOPs, policies, and CDM guidance documents. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Client Management /h3 ul liServe as primary point of contact for customer on clinical data management deliverables /li liProvide project management expertise working with customer data managers, key decision makers, and internal team members to manage continuous process improvements, issue escalation, workload projections, and provide technical expertise /li liProvide justification for and perform direct negotiations with customer, e.g., timelines, financial, process, resource /li liMaintain strong customer relationships /li liEnsure open communications with customer and Quintiles management to manage and meet contractual obligations /li /ul h3Service Management /h3 ul liMeet with Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) and/or Data Operations team members on a regular basis to ensure milestones meet timelines and quality deliverables /li liEstablish strong communications with Data Operations team, functional leads, project managers and all other stakeholders /li liSupport DM service delivery with comprehensive DM process and technical expertise in executing projects /li liServe as the escalation point for unresolved data issues; work with client data managers, vendors, and internal team members for resolution /li liWork with functional manager(s) to ensure appropriate resources are assigned to meet project deliverables /li liCreate and/or review and sign-off on all data management plan (DMP) documents /li liImplement proactive quality management plans across multiple projects/programme. Track service performance and provide leadership to identify root causes of issues and implement remedial actions /li liServe as Subject Matter Expert (SME) /li liProvide leadership and expertise in a specific CDM task or technology /li liMaintain internal tracking databases and systems /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree, or educational equivalent, in health, clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or related field /li li5+ years direct Clinical Data Management experience in CRO or pharmaceuticals industry, including 3+ years as a CDM project lead; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience /li liPrevious experience and proven competence in managing delivery of multiple projects through full DM life-cycle (several studies/programmes) /li liPrevious experience of handling customer negotiations /li liKnowledge of Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulatory guidelines /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills /li liComprehensive understanding of clinical drug development process /li liAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and customers /li /ul pIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
