** We are looking for a Country Manager to join our Network & Partnerships Management Team. Application must be submitted in English. **
We are looking for a Country Manager Italy to lead and grow our Employee Benefits business in Italy. You will own the relationship with our local Network Partner(s), act as the key interface between the Italian market and global GEB teams, and drive retention and business development across multinational and local opportunities.
Key responsibilities (non-exhaustive list):
* Own and strengthen the partnership with the Italian Network Partner(s), ensuring alignment with GEB strategy and effective day-to-day execution.
* Act as the market and partner expert for Italy, advising internal stakeholders (sales, underwriting, finance, legal) and facilitating decision-making and escalations.
* Drive retention and growth: support renewals, identify opportunities, and coordinate business plans and pipeline development for multinational clients and brokers/intermediaries.
* Coordinate technical/financial topics connected to reinsurance, pricing, underwriting and forecasting inputs, ensuring timely, accurate information flow.
* Represent Italy internally, ensuring visibility and up-to-date information in relevant tools and materials, and promoting strong collaboration across teams.

What we are looking for someone with
* strong negotiation skills and sales experience in a B2B and/or executive environment
* ability to network and work in complex environments of large corporate and regulated organizations and indirectly manage different stakeholders with different interests and priorities
* ability to work, organize yourself and operate autonomously on a day-to-day basis
* ability and willingness to travel regularly, mainly across Italy and occasionally Europe
* willingness to share knowledge/experience with others and train them
* open to adapt, change, acts with positive mind and is ready to accept new challenges
* fluent in English and Italian, any additional language is considered an asset
Ideal background would be
* Experienced employee benefits professional with a proven track record in the Italian EB market or experience in various roles at Generali Italy Life & Health corporate segment
* experience with EB pooling and captive solutions is a plus
