And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion. /ppAmazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Logistics Specialists as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This entry‑level position requires the successful candidate to report to a site location. Amazon has multiple WBLP trainee openings between January 2026 to March 2026. Trainees will participate in our 12‑month work and training program in our San Francisco facilities. /ph3Physical Requirements /h3ulliRegularly lift and or move up to 40 lbs; and participate in group lifts for 41+ lbs. /liliAbility to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed. /liliWorking in cramped, raised, or noisy environments. /liliBending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day. /liliAscending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation. /liliTolerance for working in non‑climate‑controlled environments with temperature fluctuations. /li /ulpNOTE: Amazon is not able to provide sponsorship now or in the future for these positions. (Internal Only Section) /ppNOTE: A lump sum stipend will be provided to eligible candidates who need to relocate for this position. /ph3Key Job Responsibilities /h3ulliVendor and team communication, including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross‑functional teams. /liliEnsure that all billing associated with the inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing. /liliAssemble, address, stamp and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials. /liliAssist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick‑ups to and from production locations. /liliKeep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company. /liliTravel with personal vehicle within the regional work area (required). /liliSuccessfully complete the 12‑month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance milestones. /li /ulh3A Day in the Life /h3pThe Logistics Specialist reviews Data Center inventory, inbound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the assigned data center to support build and repair activities. Working with the Logistics Manager, you will create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and returns. You will work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately. You will also work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements. Regular and ongoing communication with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high‑level communicator. /ppIn addition, Logistics Specialists are required to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (e.g., forklift or cherry picker). Candidates will work in a warehouse or data center environment depending on the region. /ppAll candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organization, communication skills, and ability to react quickly are critical to being successful. /ppYou will be required to work shift work that will include days/nights and may be required to work weekends/holidays. Traveling within the regional work area is required.
