ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will join the Market and Financial Intermediaries Analysis (AMIF) practice, specifically within the team focused on financial market analysis and forecasting, as well as quantitative research on finance-related topics. In particular, the candidate will be involved in the regular forecasting and simulation of asset prices, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of existing models. They will also contribute to the interpretation of current market dynamics, assessing their implications for asset price forecasts. Finally, the candidate will participate in quantitative research projects aimed at extending and improving current methodologies, aiming to publish findings in internal reports or academic journals.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree or PhD in economics, statistics, or finance with a strong quantitative focus and academic background.
- Proven experience in applied econometrics in macro-financial contexts; in particular, the candidate should be familiar with univariate and multivariate time series econometrics, structural identification techniques, economic forecasting, scenario analysis and stochastic simulations, volatility modeling, and asset pricing models including CAPM, factor models, fair value models, and interest rate modeling.
- Previous experience in relevant professional settings (financial institutions, public bodies, or academia) is an asset.
