<p><strong>Superintendent; Interior & Outfittings; New Builds; Cruise ships</strong></p><p>Italy</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Looking for a fantastic next project?</strong></p><p><strong>Join this luxury cruise organization as they continue to grow and expand their fleet & operations.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><em>Previous work experience with cruise ships, luxury yachts or ferries is required.</em></p><p><br></p><ul><li>“Hands-on” shipyard experience is needed.</li><li>Must have employment authorization to work in Italy.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Very Attractive Salary, Incentives and accommodation</p><p><br></p><p>Reporting to the Sr. Director, this position is accountable to oversee/supervise the shipyard, contractors and suppliers associated with the luxury ships’ interiors, accommodations, design, technical equipment, technical hotel, installation and commission.</p><p><br></p><p>Provide technical and operational expertise in architectural design, guidance and overall assistance to the shipyard.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key deliverables:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan reviews, draw reviews and design reviews along with associated feedback</li><li>Inspection of ships </li><li>Assists in the review, commentary and preparing of approval correspondence for vessel plans, drawings, samples, mock-ups, makers specifications and ensures timely responses.</li><li>Attends daily inspections and Commissioning activities</li><li>Supplier/vendor management and following up to ensure timelines are being met</li><li>Factory inspections</li><li>Manage multiple on-going projects</li><li>Maintains overall picture pertaining to a cohesive, upscale design and guest experience</li><li>Understands the luxury cruise industry with associated design experience</li></ul><p></p>
