AvioAero is reinforcing its focus on excellence in the aeronautical field, specifically for Engine & Mechanical Transmissions (e.g., actuators, pumps, sensors, heat exchangers for engine actuation systems, turboprop and turbojet engines, engine accessory drivetrains, helicopter reduction gearboxes, etc.). We are seeking a talented and experienced Accessories Hardware Owner and Design Engineer. This role involves designing, supporting production, and assisting customers within the Controls and Accessories Engineering organization, particularly related to control systems, gearbox, and engine components. The position requires significant involvement in technical assessment, component design, and technical documentation, ensuring high-quality execution through close collaboration with Engineering and System departments. Essential Responsibilities Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to standards, practices, procedures, and requirements. Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies via 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection. Expand knowledge within your technical discipline to support policy and strategy, including support roles in specialized technical fields. Ensure design and hardware deliverables meet internal and external customer expectations, maintaining AvioAero's Design Execution Quality within deadlines across the product lifecycle. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university. Proven experience in engineering, preferably in related fields. Experience with fluidic and mechanical components (actuators, pumps, valves, filters, pipes, accessories, sensors, heat exchangers, electrical engines). Proficiency in English and Italian (written and oral). Knowledge of mechanical design and analysis. Understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical disciplines. Proficiency in CAD (modeling and drafting). Knowledge of GD&T. Strong technical presentation skills. Proficiency in Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). EU Work Permit. Desired Characteristics Knowledge of aviation component certification processes. Understanding of fluidic and thermal management systems. Ability to interface with internal departments and manage relationships with external companies, suppliers, and customers. Strong team working capabilities.
