Wood is recruiting for a Project Control Manager to join its Projects - Process and Chemical Team, focusing on engineering, procurement, and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Energy industries. The position will be based in the Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.
The role offers an initial onsite assignment for an important ongoing project in Romania.
The Role
As part of the Project Control Department, you will coordinate the team of planning and cost control engineers, ensuring consistency in analysis and reporting. International mobility and willingness to be assigned abroad are essential.

Expected Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
* At least two EPC projects as Project Control Manager
* Experience with Oracle P6 and risk analysis
* Self-motivated with good communication skills
* Willingness to travel and work abroad
* Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows
* Fluent in Italian and English
Key Objectives
* Act as the client focal point for project controls
* Monitor project progress and forecast performance
* Identify and report on critical path issues
* Establish communication interfaces for project controls
* Report project status and KPIs
* Develop WBS & CBS
* Manage cost and planning control structures
* Forecast budgets using EVM principles
* Ensure accuracy of S-curves and Gantt charts
* Analyze resource needs
* Lead risk analysis workshops
* Ensure compliance with project controls procedures
