Introduction
Amazon is seeking bright, motivated, and hardworking individuals to fill the Sort Center Trainer position at our SC (Sort Center). The ideal candidate possesses strong work ethics, attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a commitment to customer service related to product fulfillment. This position may require using radio frequency scanners, moving shipments to the correct locations, performing operations like unloading/loading trucks, sortation, and handling exceptions when they occur. SC Trainers are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards, and be willing to work in multiple shifts. The position also requires a strong will to adapt to various roles within the sort center, including loading, unloading, and sortation. The job is demanding, filled with learning and fun, as we aim to provide the best services to our customers at all times.

* Performing all job duties and physical requirements regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Employee Development:
* Assist the Learning Manager in fostering employee development.
* Create and update training materials, SOPs, and visuals.
* Identify production and scheduling conflicts and report them promptly.
* Manage the learning department to ensure effective training for new and existing staff.
* Identify potential trainers and groom them for process training.
Leadership:
* Lead teams of associates, ambassadors, and trainers.
* Develop and manage cross-functional teams to meet operational needs.
* Track and report training metrics and identify gaps.
Administrative:
* Update and record training progress and skills.
* Create and manage training content and documentation.
* Gather and track training metrics.
* Conduct training and compliance audits.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
* Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
* Ability to push and pull loaded dollies up to 100 pounds.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
