Ph3Validation and Verification Systems Engineer /h3 pArgotec is an Italian aerospace company specializing in the production of small satellite platforms (from 6U Cubesats up to 250 kg platforms) and innovative products to improve the comfort of space explorers. The company follows an “all in‑house” concept, encompassing design, development, integration, qualification, and operational services. /p pWe seek an enthusiastic Validation and Verification (VV) Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Unit. The role focuses on coordinating and executing validation and verification activities throughout the spacecraft lifecycle, ensuring that the satellite and all components meet mission requirements. /p h3DUTIES /h3 ul liAccountable for Verification and Validation in all mission phases (from phase 0/A up to E). /li liDefine the model philosophy, verification approach, and strategy. /li liRedact and execute the AIV Plan. /li liRedact test specifications, collect information and needs from all disciplines, and delegate tasks as required. /li liMaintain the VCD, collecting all verification reports from all disciplines. /li liMaintain the verification schedule and report to the Integrated Project Team. /li liCoordinate with the Mission Architect / Technical Lead and other technical figures in the team. /li liSupport Systems Engineering colleagues on the definition and management of technical requirements and specifications throughout the project lifecycle. /li liPrepare technical documentation, reports, and technical notes. /li liSupport the Flight Operations Team in the definition and execution of the mission. /li liInterface with the Quality Department and participate in (external/internal) NRB and NCR processes and configuration control processes. /li /ul h3GENERAL REQUIREMENTS /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Aerospace or Space Engineering or a related technical field. /li liAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the space field. /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams. /li liHigh flexibility and team‑working capability. /li liHands‑on and proactive approach. /li liAbility to work within multidisciplinary and international teams. /li liExcellent written and oral communication in English. /li /ul h3REQUIRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS /h3 ul liKnowledge of mission, system, and subsystem requirement definition and validation. /li liKnowledge of spacecraft and subsystem model philosophies and overall test campaign stages. /li liGood understanding of satellite architecture and design with CubeSat and SmallSat platforms. /li liKnowledge of mission phases (as ECSS standard) and main activities to be performed. /li liKnowledge of system engineering tools and processes. /li liKnowledge of interfaces between subsystems (data, power, electrical). /li liKnowledge of aerospace systems applicable standards, such as ECSS, MIL, NASA STD. /li liKnowledge of space component technologies and the European/market of Small Satellite. /li liKnowledge of Product Assurance and Quality management processes. /li /ul h3ADDITIONAL ASSETS /h3 ul liKnowledge of system budgets (at least mass, power, energy, volume). /li liExperience with MBSE approach and implementation. /li liKnowledge of JIRA and Confluence in an Agile working framework. /li liExperience with in‑orbit spacecraft operations. /li liPerformed projects review under Agency supervision (e.g. ESA, NASA, ASI). /li /ul h3WHY JOIN ARGOTEC? /h3 ul liOpportunity to work with highly motivated colleagues in a very innovative environment. /li liProfessional training and career development opportunities. /li liFlexible working time schedule and a hybrid work policy. /li liMonthly “Free‑Day” – every second Friday: time off to dedicate to family and/or hobbies. /li liAccess to a diversified community that organizes extra‑work and fun activities. /li /ul pSalary range: €35 000 to €45 000. /p pWe are an equal‑opportunity employer.
