As a Production Planner, you will join the Fabrication Control Management (FABCOM) Department within the ABSER Business Line, responsible for:
During bidding phase :
* Supporting the definition of procurement and fabrication strategies, project schedules, and man-hours estimation based on bidding documentation and data analysis on material utilization, yields, and workload.
At Project start-up :
* Supporting the project team in releasing the project schedule related to fabrication activities, defining engineering and procurement deliverables accordingly.
* Contributing to the preparation of work breakdown structures (WBS) and ensuring the issuance of estimated man-hours.
During Project Execution :
* Ensuring cycled man-hours preparation and operative planning (work-pack issuance).
* Monitoring actual man-hours against cycled man-hours, producing ETC (Estimate To Complete) analysis.
* Supporting decisions on project modifications (e.g., acceleration, recovery, rescheduling) with qualitative and quantitative analyses of production status and trends.
* Uploading project data (schedule, material take-off, welding summary, process orders) and production feedback into the yard management system.
* Promoting continuous improvement in operational matters.
* Coordinating pre-fabrication and fabrication activities to manage workload and manpower saturation.
* Developing multi-project production plans to evaluate manpower availability and external resources.
* Issuing the project execution plan.
* Assessing time and cost impacts of subcontractor claims.
QUALIFICATIONS : Master’s Degree in Management, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE : B2 / C1 proficiency.
LABOUR RELATIONSHIP : Permanent contract.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 4-7 years in production planning.
IT SKILLS : Advanced MS Office.
SOFT SKILLS :
* Problem solving;
* Ability to work independently and in teams with minimal supervision;
* Flexibility and willingness to work on offshore rotations at national and international sites.
LOCATION : Willingness to relocate worldwide / remote areas.
