Who are we at 2B1st Consulting ?

2B1st Consulting is a family company developing a solution called Project Smart Explorer which helps companies map the market of energy projects.

2B1st Consulting is composed of international Experts of the Energy with the support of an in-house digital factory. Originally from the petroleum industry, 2B1st Consulting expanded in all the Energy industries, always combining its expertise with homemade solutions.

2B1st company is headquartered in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France and helps customers around the globe.

True to our motto, 2B1st is acting in many trade associations in Europe and Middle East to share its knowhow and stay at the top of its expertise. Our goal is to be the Energy Knowledge Center of our industry.

Back in 2010 our founder JC Guilhem was ABB Global VP Oil Gas Petrochemical and looking for an efficient way to trace this market and drive his team with foresight.

Unsuited by existing solutions, he decided to leave his position and create a tool easing the Oil Gas and Energy market to help contractors and vendors adopt a pro-active business development approach.

Launched in 2012 from this impulse, www.projectsmartexplorer.com is the result of a reverse engineering work conducted by experts of the energy sector.

Evaluating the 1500 most active projects of the Oil Gas Petrochemical and Energy Transition industry, Project Smart Explorer facilitates the business development of many companies.

Tracing projects from early phase, our users can detect all the trends and opportunities on the market upfront, and then lead the project pursuit end-to-end.

Adopting our database Project Smart Explorer and our market approach, users turn pro-active and can chase projects matching with the company's expertise.

Playing pro active contractors and vendors become more efficient and successful at the same cost thanks to our comprehensive business intelligence.

Our mission: We help our customers to grow their business by providing them data and intelligence about their markets. More than data, we sell information and intelligence to help them get the next order.

Our tool Project Smart Explorer has few big players, but none can match our innovative approach and expertise.

With a 30% growth in 2025, our prospects are calling us and the complexity of Energy projects dynamics is giving us a large boost in demand.

To keep up with this demand we need people in charge. After a transition period, we have now started a quick growth and need people to join the team.

Job description

The team at 2B1st Consulting is growing and to achieve our goals, we are recruiting a South Europe Director in Italyy.

The role will focus on supporting the business development activities of the company within the Energy market. This includes research, new business development, relationship building, developing, and landing partnerships, delivery of online demos, visit customers to promote our tool and service Project Smart Explorer.

Other activities will include general operations associated with business development in the Petroleum/Energy market, participation to conferences, trades show, or exhibitions.

You will be in charge of helping us develop the business within Italy and the South of Europe (Spain, Portugal, etc). Your role? To seek out, find and sign our future customers. Our Sales team currently consists of 3 people, but you will have access to our CRM of around 1000 leads.

We are a small company and as such operate with an agile method. In the next 12 months, we want to pursue our growth and take solid market shares.

* Your main tasks: Build a high vision strategy of your region and a roadmap for the year
* Generate leads and business through an outbound/hunting approach: deepen existing accounts and prospect for new clients (emailing/phoning/visiting) and to maintain a comprehensive sales pipeline
* Make demos, submit offers, follow your tenders with your clients.
* Build a lead list and use our already build list.
* Meet new prospects at events, and follow with emailing/phoning strategies
* Networking: PR/ external communication (media, events, fairs)
* Analyse and forecast the commercial pipeline
* Adopt and use Hubspot CRM to follow up on leads, offers and deals
* Work with the rest of team to update commercial partnerships and invoicing process
* Represent the expertise and brad image of the company
* Giving inspiring feedbacks and benchmarks
* Participate on the family mentality of our company
* Preferred experience

You are the right person for us if:

You must have at least 3 years experience in the B2B sector linked to oil & gas, petroleum or Energy projects business

* You have an experience in business Development
* You have good written and oral communication skills in English and Italian
* You have the ability to organize your own work with little supervision and prioritize your work
* You are used to managing sales cycles and can follow them up
* You are able to adapt quickly
* You have an high mobility

BONUS POINT:

* You have already had similar experience
* You are an excellent networker, ability to deal with a wide range of people
* You have already worked with the CRM Hubspot
