Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated TEAM LEADER who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate service/retrofit activities related to rail vehicle maintenance and resources in the execution of maintenance activities, with a view to continuous cost/time/quality improvement.
* Manage the documentation related to ongoing maintenance, ensuring correct flow of use of specific tools and equipment for the performance of service activities.
* Ensure the safety of maintenance locations by promoting compliance with current procedures, taking care to report any non‑conformities to supervisors.
* Support the enhancement of skills and teamwork by leading the resources on their shift (7/7 h24).
Required Skills / Knowledge
* Experience in performing and managing maintenance activities, preferably gained in the railroad industry.
* AS‑NF certifications – National Railway Safety Agency (COCS 30) – to work on train safety organs (preferred).
Education / Qualifications
* High school diploma, preferably Technical Expert (Mechanical, Computer, Electronic).
Languages
* Proficiency in Italian is mandatory.
* Basic knowledge of English (written and spoken).
