Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Team Leader for Field Service Technicians in the biogas sector to manage and continuously improve our field service operations across Italy. This role combines hands‐on technical expertise with team leadership and operational responsibility. You will lead a team of 3–5 service technicians, ensure high‐quality service delivery, and actively support customers through maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical guidance.Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead, organize, and develop a team of 3–5 field service technicians; plan and coordinate field assignments; provide technical and administrative guidance, training, and continuous support; drive ongoing improvement of service processes and team performance.Field Service Operations: Perform maintenance, repair, and installation work on mechanical and electrical components of biogas plants; diagnose and resolve technical faults and ensure timely issue resolution; handle customer complaints and warranty cases; plan and coordinate your own travel and service assignments.Customer Support & Communication: Act as a key contact for customers, providing technical advice and operational guidance; deliver on‐site and remote support; increase customer satisfaction; conduct training sessions when required.Process Improvement & Reporting: Monitor and optimize service and maintenance; coordinate service activities with internal departments; prepare service reports, documentation, and performance analyses; contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.Proven experience in field service, ideally in biogas or renewable energy.Initial leadership experience or strong potential to lead a team.Excellent troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills.Hands‐on, structured, solution‐oriented working style.Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
Languages
Italian and English (good working proficiency).German is a plus.
Location & Travel
Base: Rovereto, Italy.Travel requirement: approximately 50% on‐site at biogas plants across Italy.
