For the Industrial Business Unit of the Headquarter of Montecchio Maggiore (VI) we are looking for an:
Application Engineer
The person will manage the following activities:
-Collect and interpret data based on customer's technical specifications and collaborate with sales management for the offer preparation (including public and private tenders)
* Act as technical interface for the commercial area, to provide technical answers, system sizings, product presentations, technical notes
* Act as technical interface for customers, including direct visits on site to provide adequate technical solutions to requests, to carry out training sessions on products and applications, to check the status of the battery installation and provide solutions / answers to the specific issue (acting as first technical interface to customers)
* Carry out after-sales technical activities related to a specific order or installation (definition of accessories, technical meetings with the customer, supervision of testing, inspections on goods to be delivered, preparation of technical documentation and on-site inspections)
* Coordinate important projects related to assigned countries /areas, involving internal functions and departments (Sales, Purchasing, R&D, Supply chain, Customer Service, Quality)
* Participate to exhibitions with Sales and Marketing teams, to promote products and solutions to customer and partners.
Requirements of the position:
-Technical diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrics or Electronics preferable)
-Knowledge of electrical systems
-Comprehension of technical specifications and electrical wiring diagrams
-Knowledge of battery systems operation (
Lithium technology
is a plus)
-Knowledge of electrical standards (preferable)
-Knowledge of basic chemical principles (preferable)
-Good knowledge of MS Office
-Good level of English (B2)
-Good level of
German
(B2 - preferable)
-Previous experience 2+ years in similar role and market sector is a plus.
