In order to reinforce the Operations Team in Milan we are currently recruiting for a full time Flight Operations Coordinator / Officer.
In this role you are responsible for all activities around the coordination and organization of flights for our VVIP customers through all the Mediterranean Area.
You will work in close connection with internal operational and non-operational departments as well as external suppliers to coordinate all necessary framework in order to deliver an optimal service to our customers.
Description/Tasks:
* Organization and service's coordination of flights for our V.V.I P. customers
* Advising customers in aeronautical matters
* Communication with aviation authorities regarding overflight- and landing permissions
* Coordination of airport and ATC slots
* Organization and coordination of ground handling
* Liaise with different suppliers for any additional services linked to flights such as limousine, Catering, helicopter or other services
* Develop and make decisions of short-term alternatives according to frameworks and company's procedures
* Liaise externally with VVIP / Aircraft Operators / Crew / Civil Aviation Authorities.
Qualification/Experience:
* Relevant work experience in the operational field of aviation (preferably Private/General/Business Aviation) or holding an aircraft dispatcher qualification
* Experience of Flight planning systems Ideally, experience in a similar role within a similar organization
* Sound knowledge and understanding on national and international aviation regulations and the effect on day to day operational requirements
* This position will require you to make critical decisions so it is essential that you have fantastic communication skills, able to remain calm in difficult situations with an ability to prioritize high workload.
* Good IT skills (MS Office, web and relational database systems)
* Fluency in English and Italian (written and oral) is a must
* Team-player, Solution-oriented, customer oriented and communicative personality
* Flexibility regarding working shifts (weekend and night shifts)
* Service and customer oriented, preferably with previous experience in the Luxury industry from a customer service perspective.
