Key Responsibilities
*
* Perform server rack installations, hardware break‑fix on various components, troubleshoot network issues, and respond to operational incidents that impact service availability, escalating to senior technicians and management as needed.
* Serve as a primary contact point for both internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, software developers, vendors, and contractors.
* Perform on‑call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
* Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives based on analysis of operational issues.
* Help train and onboard new team members.
Physical Requirements
*
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
* Work in cramped and/or elevated locations; bend, lift, stretch, and reach.
* Stand and walk up to 8+ hours a day.
* Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
* Work in a noisy environment.
* Work shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering both night and day shifts).
Essential Requirements
*
* Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
* Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods or until assigned facility is operational.
* Travel frequency will vary based on business needs and operational status of assigned facility.

*
* Take ownership of technical issues brought by the customer base, engaging other teams when needed to drive resolution.
* Solve problems at their root and step back to understand the broader context.
* Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting.
Basic Qualifications
*
* High school or equivalent diploma.
* 1+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT experience.
* Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
*
* Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
* Experience working in a data center environment.
* An associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional or military experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, networking engineering).
