Position
The Project Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution. This role involves collaborating with various teams to align project milestones with strategic goals.
Key activities
-Schedule Development: Create detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
-Progress Monitoring: Continuously track project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
-Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective resource allocation and utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
-Reporting: Prepare and present regular status reports to project stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
-Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines.
-Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment with organizational goals.
-Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all planning and scheduling data is up-to-date and accessible.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning or scheduling, preferably in the energy or engineering sector.
-Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
-Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
