Safety, environment, and wellbeing are our foundation, and we never compromise them.- We are looking for a Junior IT/OT Technician with a main responsibility in providing technical support in both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.- The location for this position is in Trieste, Italy.Your role and responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities: - Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT and OT systems (computers, servers, network devices, and industrial equipment). - Provide first-level technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. - Monitor IT and OT infrastructures, identifying and responding to system alerts and performance issues. - Assist in the documentation of systems, procedures, and configurations. - Collaborate with senior IT and OT professionals to implement and maintain cybersecurity practices in industrial environments. - Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for both IT and OT systems. - Assist users by developing scripts, macros, and other automations to streamline and automate their work. - Maintenance and management of the laboratory computers' backup system. - Management and maintenance of the AXIS surveillance camera system. Requirements for the position - Fluent in English. - Diploma in Information Technology, Automation, Electronics or equivalent relevant experience. - Basic understanding of IT (networking, operating systems, software) and OT (industrial automation, PLCs, SCADA) systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and evolving environment. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.- Certifications in IT or OT-related areas. - Familiarity with cybersecurity practices for industrial environments. - Experience with scripting or automation tools.
