A Senior back-end developer works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires the evaluation of identifiable factors. Receive little instruction on day-to-day work, and general instructions on new assignments.
Position Location - This role is available in Latam.
Time Zone Requirements - This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.
How you'll make an impact:
* Writing advanced programming code.
* Reviewing updated software systems.
* Attends both business and technical considerations when designing solutions to project/team or company related issues.
* Conceptualizing and generating infrastructure that allows big data to be accessed and analyzed.
* Reformulating existing frameworks to optimize their functioning.
* Testing such structures to ensure that they are fit for use.
* Preparing raw data for manipulation.
* Remaining up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements that will improve the quality of your outputs.
* Demonstrates interest in improving the company's technical awareness, depth and use of technology across the business.
* Participates in the evolution of company level best practices, standards, and policies as it relates to software development.
What we're looking for:
Minimum requirements:
* 4-6 years Java Backend experience (17 or higher), Java SE and Java EE applications
* Knowledge with data structures and design patterns
* Proficient in Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot
* ORM frameworks, APP Integrations, reactive programming
* Experience with ReactJS
* Software architectures, Microservices, N-Tier.
* JVM performance optimization
* AWS S3, Kinesis, RDS, Lambdas
* PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
* DevOps Infrastructure (Kubernetes, Terragrunt, Terraform)
* Big Data Processing via Streams or Batches
* Rest, JPA, SQL/NoSQL, Junit
* Experience with highly scalable applications
* Read, write, listen, and have the ability to establish a conversation in English.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively and independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
