Role purpose
Our Workday landscape comprises HCM, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management and Time and Attendance.
The HRIS function is also responsible for data analysis and producing critical reports / dashboards for the organisation.
As HRIS Specialist you will support users from across our global locations get the most out of Workday.
In addition to supporting our user base you will be involved in configuring business processes and suggesting improvements to our overall configuration.
Responsibilities
Support upgrades, testing, validation and overall system performance.
Work and support semi-annual Workday updates.
Provide production support and work on troubleshooting and resolving critical issues.
Perform configuration / setup of business processes and master data.
Liaise with a third-party Application Management Supplier (AMS) to schedule and manage configuration requirements where additional resource is required (whether for additional SME knowledge and / or to support management of existing workload).
Design and maintain Workday HR application security.
Notify Workday of system issues, providing detailed examples when required.
Maintain data integrity in system by running regular audits, error monitoring.
Develop and maintain user support materials ('how to' documents, videos).
Qualifications
Previous hands-on HRIS configuration experience in a fast-paced business environment; prior experience with Workday HCM is highly preferred
Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (nice to have)
Significant experience in process reengineering (familiarity with HR processes is a strong plus)
System testing and configuration experience
Solid experience with MS Office Suite (intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel - including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables – is mandatory)
Outstanding analytical abilities, precision, a results-driven orientation and an aptitude for problem-solving
Confidence with technology and fast learner attitude
Experience handling sensitive data and are trustworthy approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent English and Italian is mandatory; knowledge of German language will be considered as a plus
