The Regional Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Manager will be responsible for partnering with a regional operations team in our Amazon Heavy & Bulky (AMXL) Network to execute company WHS policies and ensure compliance to all applicable health and safety regulations. They must support and develop senior operational leaders on WHS theory, practice, policies and assist the EU regional teams in embedding, simplifying and innovating our WHS standards throughout their sites. This role will be a single threaded leader focusing on compliance across AMXL EU Operations.Key job responsibilitiesPossess a thorough understanding of UK & EU Health and safety regulations and company policies.Provide guidance and oversight to assure compliance to all applicable Amazon WHS Policies.Measure the regions and sites' performance against published requirements in WHS policies and identify improvement plans for the site to close all identified gaps.Ensure WHS record keeping and data integrity and provides operations with accurate reporting (lead and lag) metrics to support business WHS initiatives.Deliver projects on time to a high standard with operations.Analyse WHS metrics to identify trends to justify the allocation of appropriate resources to areas where the safety risk is highest.Analyse Global Safety Peer Review results and develop and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury at other FCs.Ensure site leadership and Associates are trained and knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy. Audit the quality, delivery (including qualifications of the trainer), and effectiveness of all required WHS training.Ensure our WHS talent is developed and their thinking is challenged to be constantly at the front of professional practice.Review the effectiveness of deployed WHS tools so they are simplified for use and are adding value. xrdztoy Partner with corporate and other regional field WHS personnel to leverage global WHS best practices into EU/UK network standards.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Ardea, RM, ITA | Milan, MI, ITA | Rome, RM, ITA. #J-18808-Ljbffr
