Senior Expert in External Partnerships
The role involves managing external business interactions, leading supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role
* Establish effective working relationships with suppliers, serving as the primary point of contact for all supplier-related matters.
* Foster a collaborative environment with suppliers, promoting open communication and proactive problem-solving to resolve any issues that may arise.
* Represent the organization in contract discussions, collaborating with procurement, QA, and other internal stakeholders.
* Monitor and control CDMO performance to identify gaps or risks, taking appropriate action to address them.
* Lead issue resolution and prevention initiatives in line with internal processes, Master Service Agreements, and Quality Agreements.
* Maintain assigned companies in a GMP-approved status, tracking Third Party Assessment due dates and addressing prerequisites, audit preparation, Quality Frame Agreement updates, CET assessments, etc.
* Ensure awareness of changes at assigned CMOs, including equipment, capabilities, investment, organizational changes, etc.
* Support technical outsourcing requests with recommendations on preferred suppliers, RFP creations, and discussions with CDMOs; ensure outsourcing activities and decisions align with strategy.
Requirements
* Master's degree with 4-6 years of proven experience.
* Proven experience in supplier management, procurement, or a related role. Candidates with experience in supplier relationship management will be given preference.
* Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
* A proven track record of leading multidisciplinary, multicultural groups with people having widely varying backgrounds.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain and vendor management principles.
