You will report to our Managing Director of Polestar Automotive Italy with a dotted line to the Commercial Control team at HQ. /p pbThe position is located in Milan, Italy. /b /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 ul liManage and improve upon existing local controlling and reporting practices /li liIdentify key drivers and set up performance follow up /li liEnable the organization to increase the efficiency and streamline financial processes /li liIdentify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities /li liBe the financial business partner to the managing director by initiating, supporting, challenging and following-up on the activities needed in order to secure a successful financial and operational development /li liBe the guardian of Polestar’s local assets and secure an optimized use of the company’s resources /li liBe the main liaison towards HQ from a financial perspective, working closely with the regional controller within the HQ Commercial control team. /li liPrepare business forecast and ensure ongoing accuracy /li liMonthly budget analysis and preparation of budget related reports, accruals and analysis /li liSupport in contract negotiations and business case studies /li liSupport business functions in processing of invoices, resp. purchase orders /li liAnnual planning and monitoring of Service Level Agreements /li liClarification of tax and commercial law issues with external experts /li liDrive and coordinate cross functional general affairs related initiatives within the organization /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pTo be a great fit for this role we believe that you’re structured, self-motivated, data-enthusiastic and have a quantitative problem-solving approach. You’re collaborative, flexible, have an open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility. /p pbFurther on we believe it’s of great importance that you : /b /p ul liHave a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in finance / business administration or similar with minimum three years of related experience /li liHave a strong capability in understanding and communicating financial analyses, forecasting, budgeting, internal control and making appropriate business recommendations based on financial data /li liHave complete knowledge about local regulations, tax rules to review and ensure Polestar fulfills all local requirements /li liHave experience from working with sales and financial planning /li liKnowledge of and insight in the automotive industry both from a wholesale and retail perspective, i.e. high level of business acumen is an asset /li liStrong skills in Excel is needed, and good knowledge in PowerPoint is wishful. /li liKnowledge of and experience from working with direct to consumer businesses /li liFluency in the English and Italian languages is a must /li /ul h3People at Polestar /h3 pWe know that a change is needed.
