In this role, you will join Ferrero’s European Central Transport team, where you will play a key part in bplanning and managing export transportation /b across Ferrero production sites in Europe. This includes overseeing road freight transport operations for finished goods, intermediates, semi‑finished products, raw materials, and packaging from Ferrero plants, co‑packers, and external warehouses towards our industrial and commercial network, or directly to customers. /p h3bMain Responsibilities: /b /h3 pCovering this position, you will bdevelop weekly shipping plans /b by analyzing market and plant requirements, stock levels across the industrial network, and production schedules. Your goal will be to bensure optimal service levels /b through effective transport planning. /p pThe bTransportation Management System /b (TMS) will be your tool to optimize transport routes. Based on the tender share logic defined by Central Procurement, you will assign shipments to the appropriate carriers. /p pYour bcollaboration with internal and external stakeholders /b (including customers, warehouses, and production sites) to resolve any transport‑related issues that may arise will be key. That is why effective communication will be a fundamental ingredient of your daily activities. /p pMoreover, you will bimplement and monitor transportation plans /b, ensuring timely vehicle arrivals, product availability, and efficient loading operations. It is your responsibility to proactively identify and address carrier‑related issues, proposing improvements when necessary. /p pYou will drive btransportation KPIs /b within your area of responsibility. These include vehicle utilization, product storage time, loading punctuality, and transit time. You must ensure cost‑effective transport operations through continuous monitoring and control. /p pIn addition, you will bidentify and propose enhancements /b to transportation and logistics processes.
