Support overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as needed.Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station, supervising logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to ensure deliveries meet and exceed operational KPIs.Monitor coordinator and associate performance and coach them as needed; partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations; communicate with delivery service providers to raise quality expectations.Interview candidates for associate roles.Brief and monitor the workload of all drivers and associates, maintain meticulous records of administrative tasks, measure and monitor workflows and daily metrics; assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on site performance.Train and mentor new associates, ensuring they have the knowledge needed to carry out their tasks; resolve process‐related issues as required.Be flexible to work different shifts and overtime when needed.Collaborate with the Operations Manager to adequately resource the function: training needs, absence and performance management, coaching, continuous monitoring of department productivity, and more.
