For the Summer 2026 season, we are looking for a
Maître
to join our team at Mangia's Pollina Resort. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring an efficient, well-coordinated service that meets Mangia’s quality standards. They will coordinate the dining room staff, support management, and intervene directly in customer relations when necessary.
Responsibilities
Supervise the dining room team (chef de rang, commis, waiters), ensuring efficiency and high service quality
Manage the daily operations of the restaurant, organizing shifts and assigning duties
Welcome and assist guests, handling complaints with professionalism and discretion
Oversee table settings (mise en place) and the presentation of the venue, ensuring compliance with company standards
Coordinate communication and service flow between kitchen and dining room, ensuring accurate timing and smooth operations
Ensure compliance with hygiene (HACCP) and workplace safety regulations
Collaborate with management in planning events, promotions, and service strategies
Requirements
Proven experience in managing restaurants or dining facilities, preferably in upscale environments
Excellent organizational and team coordination skills
In-depth knowledge of service techniques and dining room protocols
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
Problem-solving abilities and stress management in dynamic environments
Flexibility with working hours, availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays
Professional appearance and grooming
Good knowledge of English; additional languages are a plus
