BrpstrongPURPOSE: /strongSupport the Chief Communication Officer and LifeWatch ERIC to reach out to scientific disseminative media, produce dissemination contents for related European projects and initiatives, update, manage and promote the LifeWatching Science Channel and its contents, support the creation of audio-visual contents and podcasts and their promotion. /ppstrongMain responsibilities /strong /pulliThey will work under the supervision of, and directly report to, the Chief Communication Officer for the communication activities of LifeWatch ERIC, supporting the implementation of the Communication Strategy and the outline of plans for projects and initiatives; /liliThey will support the Scientific Community Networking Officers in reaching out and engaging relevant scientific communities; /liliThey will support communications for EU projects that LifeWatch ERIC is involved in, for example, by liaising with the LifeWatch ERIC project managers and consortium, supporting the creation of websites and related content, organising events and campaigns, etc., and contributing to the drafting of communication work packages and project proposals; /liliThey will coordinate, support and create audio-visual contents (i. e. video and/or podcasts) related to LifeWatch ERIC activities and the EU projects it is involved, writing concepts, delivering interviews, selecting footage, etc. in collaboration with the LifeWatch Multimedia Production Centre; /liliThey will manage, update and promote LifeWatching.tv, LifeWatch ERIC Science Channel, consolidating and implementing its editorial plan, produce visuals and texts for its contents, and organising campaigns to enhance its reach; /liliThey will contribute to the organisation of scientific events and LifeWatch ERIC’s participation in exhibitions and major conferences, taking care of designing and selecting scientific contents and programmes; /liliThey will support the Digital Communication Officer in the management and update of LifeWatch ERIC web platforms and social media channels. /li /ulpstrongThe ideal candidate should meet the following requirements /strong /pulliUniversity degree or equivalent qualifications in Communications Sciences, Biological or Environmental Sciences, or other relevant fields; /liliPrevious experience as a communication specialist for research organisations and EU projects focusing on biodiversity and ecosystems/climate change/restoration and Green Deal/open science is highly desirable; /liliExcellent command of WordPress, knowledge of riverside or other audio editing software is highly desirable; /liliExperience in web radio, web tv, preferably with a focus on scientific content production and distribution is highly desirable; /liliKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point); /liliExcellence in writing and editing, as well as spoken fluency in English (native speaker or certified C1/C2 level).
