Responsibilities
* Develop and coordinate automation project planning, execution and closing;
* Participate in Project Management Plans and Processes (cost, schedule, communication, resources, scope, risk, etc.);
* Provide local strategic decisions support in annual (Capital Expense Budget & Operational) planning processes in terms of opportunities and prioritization;
* Where required coordinate installation, commissioning, start up collaborating with suppliers, end users, plant operation team, maintenance team, plant engineering team and others as required;
* Provide the technical expertise to configure, maintain and troubleshoot plant equipment and systems within the plant and execute hands‑on integration assignments on site;
* Act as the site Subject Matter Expert on robotic equipment;
* Maintain, develop and improve the Plant Floor Systems by modifications of PLC, SCADA and HMI applications;
* Identify, analyze and solve (potential) problems / malfunctions of the Plant Floor Systems;
* Research and advise with regard to the (automated) production systems; share knowledge and develop skills of others (in team) and actively participate in continuous learning opportunities;
* Takes initiative to optimize working activities;
* Understand and apply company standards including Safety, Food Safety, Sustainability, Performance, Reliability, Finance, Security and Risk Management.
Education
* Bachelor in Automation Engineering;
* Work experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food).
Experience
* +1 year of engineering experience in integration, production or supply chain environments with an automation focus.
