Company Description
Our client is a historic company based in Montebelluna, recognized internationally for producing sports articles.
Position
To strengthen the Operations team, we are looking for a Demand Planning Specialist who, reporting directly to the Operations Director, will independently manage activities related to the international supply chain, with a focus on importing materials from Far East Asia.
Responsibilities
* Analyze the customer order portfolio in relation to stock levels, supplier orders, and budget
* Issue and manage purchase orders to Asian suppliers
* Verify order confirmations
* Monitor production plans sent weekly by suppliers
* Plan shipments in coordination with customer requests and assembly timelines
* Coordinate with suppliers and international freight forwarders for shipments
* Prepare customs documentation for import
* Negotiate with freight forwarders
* Manage customs procedures and clearance
* Record goods in the system and manage warehouse activities
* Resolve logistical and supply chain issues
Requirements
* At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international manufacturing or distribution contexts
* Excellent accuracy and execution skills
* Problem-solving attitude and proactive management of critical issues
* Good knowledge of English, especially written
* Proficiency with IT tools (ERP, Excel, email)
* Good interpersonal and communication skills, both with colleagues and suppliers
