Role SummaryJob DescriptionAs part of our Global Lean Management Team, you share responsibility for the development and implementation of the Lean strategy for the Life Science & Environment division of MANN+HUMMEL GmbH and report to the Director Global Production LSE.Responsibilities

Planning and implementing the Lean strategy for the Life Science & Environment divisionEnsuring Operational Excellence and its contribution to day-to-day businessDeveloping and delivering training as well as coaching for managers and Lean expertsEstablishing and actively managing value stream development across the plantsStandardizing and sustainably embedding Lean principles and Lean tools, as well as continuously improving themLeading, facilitating, and following up on workshopsDeveloping and conducting Lean assessments at the plants

Qualifications

Education: You have successfully completed a technical degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a related field, or possess a comparable qualificationExperience: Several years of solid experience in a Lean-focused environment within a company with a strong Lean culture, particularly in Operations, SCM, or LogisticsExpertise:

Experience in developing and implementing Lean strategies, ideally in globally operating companiesKnowledge and experience in executing Lean projects, training, and standardizationExperience managing technical projects across multiple plants within an international networkExperience in implementing and promoting a continuous improvement culture (e.g., project management, Kaizen, Six Sigma)Strong MS Office and SAP (PP module) skills

Language Skills: Fluent in English and GermanPersonality:

An analytically strong manager/doer with a clear focus on efficiency and effectiveness in operational processesHands-on mentality and experience in a dynamic work environmentDetermination and persistence, combined with a strong sense of teamworkEmpathetic communication skills across all levels (from shopfloor to management)High willingness to travel (50%–75%), including extended stays in the USAStrong ambition and potential to grow into an operational leadership role within 2–3 years.
