You will support our customers by delivering maintenance activities, incident resolution, technical support, system upgrades, warranty services, training, and configuration or modifications. You will also provide on-call services as needed. As part of our Lifecycle Services team based in Seregno, you will help customers improve security, reliability, and performance using the latest technologies in process automation. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform system maintenance tasks and conduct performance evaluations. /liliProvide technical support to customers, lead investigations, and recommend solutions. /liliDeliver remote technical assistance (phone, internet) for system architecture and troubleshooting. /liliParticipate in on-call shift-based services and emergency call-outs to ensure fast and efficient customer support. /liliAssist in design studies, hardware and software upgrades, and modifications. /liliSupport project activities at customer sites, including system installation and application programming. /liliProvide on-site customer training for Emerson products. /liliStay current with the latest technologies and products relevant to your role. /li /ulh3Who You Are /h3pYou are a proactive problem solver who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership of challenges. You remain calm under pressure and make thoughtful decisions that balance customer needs with technical requirements. /ph3For This Role, You Will Need /h3ulliA degree in engineering, networking, computing, or electronics control and instrumentation (or equivalent practical experience). /liliKnowledge of IT/OT networking, cyber security, virtualization, programming software, operating systems, Active Directory, patch management, backup, and recovery. /liliStrong communication skills and proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart /h3ulliExtensive knowledge of network architectures, administration, core infrastructure components, wireless technology, and fieldbus systems. /liliExperience with start-up and commissioning in process automation. /liliFamiliarity with network architecture, DCS systems, and field implementation. /liliWillingness to travel frequently across Italy and occasionally internationally. /liliAvailability for non-office hours, including weekends, to support customers and perform call-out services. /liliAssociate-level certification for services performed on-site. /liliUnderstanding of control and instrumentation theory, including control loop configuration. /liliKnowledge of Emerson Process Management and Process Systems and Solutions products. /liliExperience with automation and control systems in process industries (typically 2–4 years). /liliValid driver’s license preferred. /li /ulh3Our Culture and Commitment To You /h3pAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
