Thanks to our diversity of skills, talents and cultures, our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators), therefore have Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.We are looking for a Propulsion Architect - Propulsion EngineerKey dutiesAssess Spacecraft level requirements concerning Propulsion and define Propulsion requirements at System, Subsystem and Equipment levels.Prepare technical specifications for Propulsion Subsystem/Equipment.Contribute to preparation of Statements of Work for Propulsion Subsystem/Equipment.Define the Propulsion System architecture based on System level requirements.Conduct functional and performance analysis of a Propulsion System using the dedicated EcosimPro application software.Size and design the Propulsion System and Subsystem, including the interfaces.Technical follow-up of development, qualification and procurement of Propulsion Subsystems/Equipment.Definition and coordination of the Propulsion System verification at System/Subsystem/Equipment level.Interface with the internal and external Customers and the Suppliers.Skills, experience and qualifications requiredMaster degree in Engineering: the Aerospace / Propulsion field is preferred.Knowledge of different typologies of Propulsion Systems, including advanced ones, for space applications.Knowledge of main requirements applicable to Propulsion Systems.Knowledge of verification approach/content applicable to Propulsion Systems.At least three years of work experience in Propulsion field.Attitude to face and learn new topics with enthusiasm.Good attitude towards teaming and multi-disciplinary approaches.Good attitude towards analysis, synthesis and problem solving.Respect of company hierarchy, rules and discipline.Attitude to work respecting budgets and schedule constraints.Fluent English (spoken and written).Availability to occasionally work in shifts and travel if requested.At Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
