The degree program should have been a minimum of two years in duration. /li liAlternatively, qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship's officer will also be considered. /li liMembership in an appropriate professional institution or working towards/pursuing Chartered or Incorporated Engineering status. /li liAdherence to professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01. /li liThe ability to utilize a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology. /li liCapability to apply suitable theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, and maintain engineering products, processes, systems, and services. /li liProficiency in technical and commercial management, such as project management and process management. /li liProficiency in the English language that is suitable for the nature of the work. /li liAbility to converse comfortably and clearly in Italian. /li /ul h3Preferred but not required /h3 ulliClassification Society experience. /li /ul h3You are someone who /h3 ul liIs keen to take accountability and ownership for delivering customer needs /li liIs able to self‑manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals /li liIs effective at solving problems, trouble‑shooting and making timely decisions /li liIs flexible and eager to take initiatives /li liCommunicates in a structured way and has ability to present technical ideas in user‑friendly language /li liDisplays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment /li liResponds positively to learning opportunities and is comfortable stepping out of own comfort zone /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity and Inclusion /h3 pWe are committed to making all stages of our recruitment process accessible to all candidates.
