Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and really customer-oriented Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate, reporting to Customer Service Manager, will manage all activities related to customer orders and act as a primary point of contact for our international customer base.
Responsibilities
* Enter customer orders into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy of product codes, prices, quantities, and delivery dates; send order confirmations to customers.
* Handle daily communication with customers regarding delivery dates, changes to orders (requested by the customer or internal updates), codes, quantities, pricing, shipping terms, and payment conditions.
* Prepare and send quotations, either independently within established guidelines or in collaboration with the Sales Manager or VP of Sales & Marketing.
* Collect customer consumption forecasts for the annual sales budget in coordination with the Sales Management and Account Managers.
* Maintain organized records of all customer correspondence, quotations, internal communications, and shipping documentation (both digital and paper formats).
Qualifications
* 3–4 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a structured and modern organization.
* A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent command of Italian and English (written and spoken).
* Ability to understand and convey basic technical information to customers.
* Familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
* Hands-on experience with SAP.
* Solid knowledge of common Incoterms and shipping conditions.
* Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with different departments.
* Additional language skills (Spanish, French, or German) are a plus
