The KION Group is on its way to becoming the only true global player and market leader in the field of automated and robotized intralogistics solutions and products. Due to expansion of the Intralogistics team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
The Project Manager ensures that all project goals are achieved within the budget : scope, quality, function, costs, deadlines, under consideration of the contractual conditions, and creates project-specific standards.
The Project Manager reports to the Business Responsible of their project.
Role Purpose :
* Delivery of the project scope, conducting project evaluation and final report
* Conduct all required project team, critical & steering committee meetings
* Communication with the customer from contract signing to acceptance
* Preparation, communication, and maintenance of the project schedule
* Communication and negotiation with suppliers in consultation with Purchasing
* In cooperation with the Site Supervisor and HSE, ensure safety of people, systems, and environment as per overall company or legislative requirements
* Monthly short-term forecast review
* Monitor and manage overall project budget. Escalate potential budget issues quickly
* Project review report preparation with support from project controlling
* Risk and opportunity management, including risk mitigation strategies and actions
Tasks and Qualifications :
Who Are We Looking For :
1. Previous experience in the role or similar
2. IT Literate – MS Office
3. Confident communicator at all levels of stakeholders, both internally (e.g., Directors) and externally (e.g., customers)
4. Knowledge of CAD / technical drawings
5. Competence in risk assessment and risk management
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Ability to plan, organize, and document multiple project activities
8. Good conflict management skills
9. Advanced knowledge of written and spoken English
10. Availability for travel within Italy up to 50% of the time
