Ph3Overview /h3pCLUSTER CHIEF ENGINEER, SICILY /ppMain purpose: As the Cluster Chief Engineer, you will oversee the engineering and maintenance operations across the assigned hotel portfolio, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of guests and employees. You will ensure compliance with all Brand standards, as well as local and national regulatory and inspection requirements. This role also includes overseeing and guiding the Chief Engineers / Maintenance Managers in each hotel, ensuring they are fully supported in their operational and leadership roles, whilst managing your own base hotel. /ppA Cluster Chief Engineer in the hotel industry oversees the engineering and maintenance operations across multiple properties, ensuring efficient and cost-effective upkeep of facilities and equipment, while adhering to safety and compliance standards. /ppReports to: General Manager. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liStrategic Planning Budget Management - Develops and manages engineering operating strategies, budgets, and long-term preventative maintenance plans for multiple properties. /li liTeam Leadership Supervision - Leads and supervises engineering teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management. /li liMaintenance Repair - Oversees both preventative and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks, providing monthly reports accounting for planned preventative maintenance progress. /li liCompliance Safety - Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols across all properties. /li liProject Management - Manages engineering projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and completion, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. /li liPerformance Monitoring Improvement - Reviews financial reports, identifies areas for improvement, and implements strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs. /li liContractor Management - Oversees and manages contractors and vendors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to contracts. /li liCommunication Collaboration - Communicates effectively with property management teams, other departments, and stakeholders. /li liEnergy Management - Implements and monitors energy conservation measures to reduce operational costs, providing monthly reports on consumption. /li liOversee and maintain the physical operation of all properties, including building maintenance, HVAC systems, kitchen and laundry equipment, refrigeration, lighting, plumbing, and water treatment systems.
