The person would play a key role in driving the function /category agenda and would work as copilot in delivering the business result. The key task would be to help the business in decision support through data analysis and business insight. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform financial reporting and support monthly PL analysis and financial forecasts. /li liSupport in monthly/quarterly financial closing activity in close co‑ordination with business and accounting teams. /li liClosely monitor and control opex budget for the business. Evaluate and question the opex requirements and continuously benchmark cost productivity. /li liFacilitate financial review meetings with business groups and work with business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management. /li liAssist in measuring and reporting progress on key goals for the business team in a timely manner. /li liMeasure and monitor metrics for new business initiatives. /li liProvide inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews in a timely manner. Facilitate the business reviews with data analysis and follow through with business leaders on actionable items for improving business metrics over time. /li liPerform ad‑hoc business analyses and financial modeling. Present recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives. /li liLead a small finance team. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul li7+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience. /li li7+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience. /li li7+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience. /li li7+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience. /li liChartered Accountant or MBA from a Tier‑1 institute. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liMBA from a top tier institute or CA. /li /ul pOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
