Role Position: PLM Technical Product Analyst in the Digital Technology team. You will act as a Technical Product Analyst for engineering software, implementing new projects for CAD/PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and defining CAD/PLM best practices and methodologies. You will work on military programs, delivering digital solutions that enable Avio Aero Engineering to create, manage and consume restricted and non-restricted data across the product lifecycle. You will partner with stakeholders across Avio Aero sites in Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic, and with other European facilities. Responsibilities
Own and manage CAD/PLM software products to enable and support the implementation of NPI/NTI programs for military applications Manage product lifecycle and obsolescence; develop and present business cases for investments in technologies and software products in your domain Participate actively in planning research and development activities Act as the team liaison with the Engineering community, proactively engaging them to ensure proper support Elaborate and map business requirements into functional and technical solutions Work closely with implementation teams to drive developments on CAD/PLM platforms Interact with international, cross-business and cross-functional Agile teams to deliver global solutions for the Engineering teams Establish strong relationships with DT counterparts across the organization, in Europe and the US Apply Agile methodology and the SAFe framework to deliver solutions on time and on cost Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and develop personas
Qualifications / Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field Proven technical depth on Computer Aided Systems and PLM platforms in a complex, multi-disciplinary, globally distributed environment Demonstrated industry experience on PLM-related projects Comfortable in uncertainty, able to deliver when guidelines are blurry Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in geographically sparse cross-functional teams Able to adjust communication to align with audience and present effectively; able to respond to questions and constructively dissent Fluent Italian and English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Technical depth and experience on Siemens or PTC PLM technologies/solutions Proven expertise in 3D modeling of mechanical components in Siemens NX or similar software Experience with data governance in PLM, including International Trade Compliance, IP protection and military classification levels Ability to align group understanding of issues and present rationale to affect outcomes; able to resolve conflicting opinions through consensus Experience using facilitation techniques to gain agreement or move others to action
