Job description and duties
We are looking for a motivated junior technician to join our team working on advanced radar systems for space applications.
This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to the assembly, integration, and testing of high-tech equipment, working alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. This position is ideal for recent graduates (diploma or bachelor) who want to grow in the space and radars sector.
You will have the opportunity to work on real space hardware and cutting-edge technologies, in a dynamic and growing environment where your contribution matters.
You will gradually be involved in:
· Performing electromechanical assembly following drawings and procedures.
· Supporting electrical and RF cabling (routing, crimping, soldering, connector mating).
· Contributing to the integration of radar subsystems and payloads.
· Assisting in testing activities.
· Helping identify and report technical issues or anomalies.
· Preparing technical documentation.
Required skills and qualifications:
· Ability to use manual tools and measurement instruments (e.g., torque wrenches, calipers, multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes...)
· Ability to follow procedures and technical instructions
· Basic understanding of technical drawings or electrical diagrams
· Ability to write clear specifications, procedures and reports
· Good attention to details and willingness to learn
· Team spirit with a problem-solving mindset
· Good knowledge of English (reading and writing)
· Availability for off-site test campaigns and occasional travel
Nice to have Skills / Qualifications
· Any internship or short experience in technical assembly, testing, or production
· Exposure to electronics, RF, aerospace, or similar fields
· Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled environments
· Experience working with quality procedures or standards
