PuPosition : /u Technical Support Specialist - Part Time /ppuLocation : /u West Palm Beach, FL /ppuJob Id : /u IT 7.25.2025 /ppbOpenings : /b 1 /ppbPosition Overview : /b /ppThe Technical Support Specialist ensures the proper operation of computer systems for end users to perform organizational tasks effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and resolving end user help requests, often involving diagnostics, help request tracking tools, and hands-on desktop support. /ppbKey Responsibilities : /b /pulliMonitor and support end user hardware and software proactively and promptly. /liliPrioritize workload to address critical issues first. /liliInstall, upgrade, and configure hardware and software. /liliAssist in testing new hardware and software before deployment. /liliConfigure and maintain mobile security and virus protection software. /liliMaintain hardware and software inventories. /liliInstall, configure, and troubleshoot content management systems. /liliManage web environments, including maintenance, security, testing, and content updates. /liliSupport VOIP phone systems, cellphones, and printers as backup. /liliCreate and maintain user documentation for help desk support. /liliEnsure equipment functionality through repairs and following manufacturer instructions. /liliMaintain confidentiality of organizational information. /liliEnhance job knowledge through training, reading, and networking. /liliEnsure compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and regulatory standards. /liliParticipate in disaster preparedness planning for equipment and data security. /li /ulpbRequirements : /b /ppHigh School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's in Computer Science or IT preferred. At least 2 years of experience in a tech support role, with proficiency in Microsoft products (Azure, Office 365, SharePoint) and operating systems.
