Field Engineer Support at Alstom – Venezia, Mestre
Overview
Leading mobility solutions company Alstom is seeking a Field Engineer Support to provide technical and reliability growth support to maximize train availability. The role involves troubleshooting, investigations, data collection, and collaboration with the Control Room System Engineer to resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a Team Troubleshooter for activities on trains.
* Support field investigations according to fleet planning on complex issues and report to the Control Room System Engineer.
* Improve troubleshooting guides (SOS/RGL validation) and participate in software validation.
* Propose new depot tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency.
* Conduct troubleshooting activities and function tests after Overhaul maintenance.
* Support maintenance with external interventions for recovery of trains and breakdowns in commercial service.
Requirements
* High school diploma (mandatory); preferred Technical Diploma (Mechanical, IT, or Electronic).
* Experience in maintenance activities, preferably in the railway sector.
* Possession of ANSF certifications – National Railway Safety Agency – to operate on train safety systems (preferred).
Language
Italian (B2).
