We are now looking for a talented Back-End Engineer to improve and maintain Arduino’s applications ecosystem. We believe in hiring collaborative smart people who are excited to push boundaries. You will join an inclusive team of technology specialists passionate about software development and collaborating in the design and development of scalable, advanced software and cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, performing technical analysis, software design and implementation.
* Collaborate with Software Architects to define technical solutions using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
* Guarantee consistency, efficiency and high quality to the Arduino codebase ensuring automated testing coverage and performing code reviews.
* Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach working in a cross-functional team, contributing finding creative solutions to enhance Arduino applications and tools.
Qualifications
* BS / MS in Computer Science or other technical related fields
* 2 / 5 yrs experience in backend development
* Strong experience working with Linux environment
* Strong experience of command line applications development
* Strong proficiency in at least one of the following : Java, .NET, C / C++, or Golang
* Experience of Cloud development (services, applications, containers, Kubernetes)
* High motivation and interest in pushing the boundaries of current technologies
* Fluent in English
* Great teamwork and positive attitude
* Proactivity and continuous learning mindset
Bonus Points
* Working experience in programming with Golang
* Passion for open source
